We were there at the San Pawl Hotel in St Paul Bay in july and first week of august 2008 for 2 weeks. best holiday ive ever had and wish to come back over in the future.

The San Pawl Hotel is great if you are looking for a great value for money hotel. The hotel is very central and you can catch a bus to any part of the island just by taking a 3 minute walk down the road. The staff are great and so is the food. Great hotel for a budget holiday basic but clean and food is very good quality for a 3 star hotel, the pool area is private and nice there is a new gym. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Overall an excellent hotel with good facillities. Staff cannot do enough for you and just a 10/15 min stroll from main bars restaurants of Bugibba. Buses very cheap as well so easy to get round the island.

The rooms at the San Pawl Hotel in Malta were better than expected. The only thing was we backed on to the street behind, which had a very lively Irish bar, but as we're all sound sleepers, this did not disturb us, but I would imagine it could for some.
