The cooking and the service at San Lorenzo's are extremely good. The menu is extensive and the portions are large so ensure you are hungry. We have tak ...

San Lorenzo's - I tend to get grumpy in restaurants as I object to paying for food that isn't as good as the food I cook myself. No problems here. Authentic, freshly cooked northern Italian dishes, with great care taken over the sourcing of ingredients (and comments on the menu to tell you why), pre ...

This was my first visit to San Lorenzo's, Mossley - I don't really visit Italian Restaurants as I am not keen on pasta, fish etc. However this menu was very extensive and exciting. Everything is authentic and they even make their own dough for the garlic bread. The staff were very friendly, polite a ...

The building itself is quirky - we lovingly refer to it as "the hut." Wherever we are in Europe we always compare them to Lorenzo's place - it's our yardstick. This is our comfort restaurant. Excellent home style Italian cooking - Lorenzo & co. know their stuff. The agnello (lamb) dishes are to ...
