    cancelled cards without telling me. told me new cards being sent with new technology on them. i was embarrased atgarage trying to pay with dud cards when i knew i ihad plenty money in account. they spoke to me from halifax as though i was dirt. have now left that society

    I have been with the halifax since 1985 and I am about to find another bank because of the arranged overdraft charges that they are about to charge £1 a day may not seem like much but to the person struggling to survive in this day and age they are too much

    I have used the internet banking now for over a year and don't know how I would manage without it. I can check all my accounts including mortgage, transfer funds which go into account immediately. I find this service excellent and would have no hesitation in recommending this service to other;s.

    Have used Bank of Scotland on-line system for all my accounts (11 in total)for 20 years. Have been a customer for nearly 50 years.     My wife and I have used Halifax Online Banking for many years but of late their Fraud Prevention System has locking us out of our accounts at a frequency of about once every month.
