    I had my SH125i from new in October 2006 until November 2008. I regularly commuted 12 miles to the London Bridge area, including throughout the winter. It was a reliable, efficient machine which looked and felt well built.

    Main strengths:

    . Started first time, every time;
    . Flat floor handy for ...

    Honda SH125i starts first time. However, questionable reliabilty, service intervals way too short. Crankshaft oil seal 'popped' at 4000 miles approx £100 to repair.

    The Honda SH 125i is still very reliable and comfortable to ride. Servicing is at every 2500 miles, and can be quite costly (UK £85). Speedometer cable failed, within the first year. My dealer has given me 2 years on parts and warranty; I am also covered for 2 years by the AA (UK - top of the ...

    Given the initial "Expert Review" I am quite surprised. My HOnda SH 125i is nearly one year old. All users should have their Bikes "steam cleaned", on a monthly basis, as certain components tend to rust rapidly (Advice given from Local Dealer). When I took the Honda 125i for its first Service at 25 ...

    I bought the sh125 brand new in june and covered 1600 miles so far.
    It has good acceleration and can easily travel at an average speed of 50 mph. The clutch is a bit noisy and the rear brake feels a bit spongy and needs a good squeeze to stop the bike at speed.
    The front fork wobbles a bit when brak ...

    Needed a scooter for work so I could save the Bandit 650 for weekends. After much research, opted for a brand new Honda SH125i (08). Had it now for two months. Always starts first time. I'm 18 stone and 6ft 1in. Plenty of leg room for me and tons of space to carry things, due to a massive top box th ...

    Just got rid of my car as it failed it's MOT and I couldn't justify getting another one, so I decided to take my CBT and get a Honda SH125.
    Out of all of the 125's out there, this one came highly recommended and now I know why.
    This is a great bike. It's a big bike for what it is with a lot of pres ...

    From a "Learner`s" point of view, the Honda SH125 is quick, nippy, but you are not going to break any road speed records, just yet. It`s well lit up from the front - Halogen headlight is good enough, and the side lights add to your immediate vision at night. Indicators are highly visible and well pl ...
