I already have a litre Honda but needed a day machine for work. I love it. O.k. it hasn't the acceleration but it scores on the following:

    a. Very low weight, no problems pulling on to centre stand
    b. Brilliant manoeuvrability on the road
    c. Gearbox is great, no crunching on first gear selection an ...

I've had my YBR for about 4 months now and think its a great little bike for the money. The only problem I've had is a headlight bulb failing (not pleasant at night). Fuel consumption averages out at 110mpg and will carry me (15st 6ft 3 with top box) along at 55mph with ease. Anything over 60mph can ...

A well-equipped, well-made, reliable and comfortable little bike.

Bought my YBR 125 after 20+ years since my last motorbike experience (Yamaha FZ50), and wanted something cheap to run for a 15 mile commute across country roads. I'm 6'0" and weigh in at a solid 100kgs (16 stones).

    Things I LOVE abo ...

Good frame, comfortable suspensions, excellent front brake. The engine is not very strong (10 HP) but it is running well with no vibrations (sometimes it seems to be a little 125 cc twin engine). The rear brake is not strong. Excellent speedo and rev counter + fuel indication. The cold start is good ...

I have had mine since new. It has only just done 15000 as I work shifts and only use it when I'm starting early or finishing late. I have only just had new pads fitted although a year or so ago both front suspension seals went and another 6 months later I had to have one of them replaced again. A ...

I purchased this Yamaha YBR125 mainly to save money on fuel, and to offset depreciation on my car. I have never taken a full bike test, and my motorcycling experience is limited to 125cc. I love this little bike! I had hoped to get 80/90 mpg. The simple fact is, I am returning something in the order ...

I got my Yamaha ybr125 about 2 months ago, in my opinon a very good bike, very cheap to run even if you ride pretty quick on it, I do about 150 miles on most of a tank. I'm 6 foot 2" with long legs and find it easy enough to fit on and can still manouver about, which it is very good due to very good ...

good build quality, very reliable, comfortable and confidence inspiring. Yamaha YBR125 is ideally suited to learners and commutors in inner city. with a top speed of 60 realistically, not a fast bike. but at £2k brand new, with second hand plentiful, theres loads of choices out there.
