Be careful as a parent or signatory, because when the child reaches 16 it automatically transfers for them to sign. I had no notice of this. Very helpful and quick service... Northampton Main Branch - very helpful and no hassle.. Two children accounts set-up without any problem at all.
I would recommend the Lloyds TSB Young Savers Account.
