The company adopts an unsympathetic attitude if one complains about a leaky acclario

I've owned this Brita Acclario Water Filter Cordless Jug kettle for 5 years. The good thing is the water taste and speed to boil. It started to leak from the base about 18mths ago and I've scalded my hand quite often when picking it up. Now in the market for a new one because I'm fed up with mopping ...

The Brita Acclario Water Filter Cordless Jug is a good concept. Filtering and boiling very efficiently.
Only had it a little over a year and only use it on average twice a day. It was a very bad pourer right from the begining but now seems to be leaking from the base. Whenever I lift the kettle up, ...

Our Brita Acclario is less than two years old and leaking from bottom even though has been looked after and cleaned each month. Third Britta filter kettle in four years! Don't think I will buy another.

Had this Brita Acclario Water Filter Cordless Jug for about 2 years. At first it leaked from the spout. This stopped after about 3 months! If filled to max boiled water shoots all over the place. Started leaking from base about 3 months ago and now so bad looking to get another filter kettle. Have ...

We have used 240 volt English kettles in the US for two decades, replacing them with newer models as they usually developed leaks after several years. On our last visit to Old Blighty in 2006, we noticed an Acclario at a friend's house and decided to buy one and take it back to the US. It has worke ...

If Britta cannot make a decent reliable kettle they should stick to filters and jugs. I have now had 2 kettles in just over two years and cannot afford to spend ££60 every year on a product that should in theory last a lifetime!

The 2 main safety points are that ever since we bought the thing it has dribbled, due to its badly designed spout. Boiling water goes all over the worktop if making a mug of coffee. The water also dribbles down the front of the kettle, and thence onto your foot! I now pour the kettle over the sink. ...
