The attitude of the manager stinks, customer service skills, what customer service skills! no help whatsoever! The room was ok, I have seen better. I will never visit Aphrodite's Lodge, Bowness-on-Windermere again.
What a waste of money and a total let down.

Wasn't a great 2 days as planned...we went with high expectations after being recommended by a friend of ours who had previously stayed. The first night at Aphrodite's Lodge was average although there are no wine glasses in the room and you cant have any unless you buy a drink which has never happen ...

lots of people say Aphrodite's Lodge is expensive, yes its pricey but then when are you going to do something like this again??? i stopped end of February and me and the wife had a great time ,

The location in Windermere I found beautiful, it was nicely seculded and away from the main road. You had your own privacy which ever room.
Lovely location, a bit pricey but worth the stay..good laugh and nice restaurants near by. Defiently advise any couple to go there.

Not too bad. Could do with lowering prices to reflect standard of hotel. The brochure promised more than Aphrodites delivered in my opinion.
Wouldn't be in a rush to return.

This hotel is nice and clean but if you are going away for a relaxing break, don't choose this hotel!

If you are given a room at the back of the hotel there is a fountain outside the room, that is switched on at 8.30 in the morning & is that loud it woke us up!
It is also not switched off until gon ...
