    Have had two Oreck Professional air purifiers for more than a year. Wife and grand daughter suffer from mould and the Orecks see to it that the air is clean and free of mould spores.     The Oreck XL Professional Purifier ran for about a year then after that its been a piece of junk !

    The Oreck XL air purifier seems to be a decent product. The Truman cell which uses ozone to capture small particles out of the air works for smoke, soot, etc, but not too well for dust. The carbon pre-filter does require changing if you want to get rid of odors, but if you wish you don't have to cha ...

    I just bought my second one, love them both.

    For anyone with allergies or pets this unit is for you. Makes the air in the room smell fresh and clean even without the use of the scent cartridge. Cheap to run and very easy to maintain, tells you when it needs service, so its basically idiot proof.

    I have this unit over a six month and I love it, I have pets in my house and as well as my wife smokes in a house and people who comes in to our home never notice it.

    I ordered two Oreck XL Professional Air Purifier units from Oreck's website. I completed the online form, gave them credit card information after a price was quoted. I received an email verifying the order and price.
