I ordered a 40" toshiba tv from johnlewis.com, despite being given a 2 week delivery estimate, as i thought i would be in good hands. how wrong i was. instead of a 40" tosh jl sent me a 50" panasonic!!! fantastic news for some but it was too big for me and i doubt they would have honoured their 5 ye ...

Very disappointed with John Lewis ... not what you'd expect from such an established retailer. Goods delivered damaged AND late - no apology or much help from their so called customer service team

John Lewis has boring overpriced furniture. Almost an exercise in how much beige and brown can be fitted on a single page.
However once you get over the initial impression, it at leaswet offers a range of colours for the boring furniture, disguising it somewhat.

I've been told I can get a refund on Sony TV we paid £780 and it is now £599.99. Unfortunately, because I bought it online there is no refund offered. In future I will be going in to the store.

Waited 2 weeks for a black electric cooker from www.johnlewis.com. They delivered a stainless steel gas cooker.
Seemed to drag their heels sorting out the mess. Have to now wait for a further 2 weeks for a delivery slot. I feel they have made no attempt to rectify the situation.
