    I will never buy another Ariston, Hotpoint or Indesit machine after this experience. When it works, it's great. But when it breaks down it takes over your life, and as it does so frequently, the hassle is just not worth it.

    Very pleased with the Ariston 1600WD after purchase, but...
    First the drying thermostat died, I called customer service and agreed with them that is was probably the thermostat. Arranged for the engineer to come and replace it. Took morning off work, for the engineer to turn up and confirm it was ...

    Bought the Ariston 1600WD in currys Dec 04, After initially being great, the dry function failed after about two months This washing machine has not dried successfully.
