The Motorola HS850 is nice looking but its true, people can't hear you well and the volume is not loud enough, my mic has also stopped working after a year and a half or so. You can't connect it USB to anything, so that's not good.... you need to carry the AC charger everywhere. Would probably not r ...

The Motorola HS850 is easy to operate but they can't hear me. Sounds muffled. I can hear them part of the time.

Boom is short. When I pull away from my face, they still cant hear well. I re-tested it by send voice mail to myself, and I see what they mean. is it too late to return?

Keep looking. I can't hear the call without holding the piece closer to my ear and even then it's difficult. Adjusting the volume doesn't solve the problem.

It's handy, however, I can't hear the other person and they can't hear me. Is there a way to turn up the volume? If you can't hear what good is it?

Within 3 months the microphone stopped working (you switch it on by unfolding the mic), so the cable must have snapped inside. Not good quality for such an expensive device. I'm disappointed.

The HS850 was my first bluetooth and I wanted to buy the "best"; however, the 850 anit it! It's pretty comfortable to wear, good battery life; but, the MOST important think is to be able to hear, well you can't. The volume only goes up so high and if you drive too fast you can't hear well either.

There is a lot of rubbish on the market today, this headset is definitely worth a few quid more.

This Motorola HS850 is the second bluetooth device that I ever owned. The first was Samsung wep150, hated it. The sound was horrible and the thing kept falling off my ear. The HS850 is far better than what I had. The pairing was easy to my Samsung d407. The sound just blew me away.

    Finally ...

As with the Motorola H500 bluetooth headset that I have, the Motorola HS850 has a very bad outgoing voice transmission, and this is paired with a V3. Customers are always asking me what I said. I'm taking it back to the store, and I am going to try a different brand, and not the Jabra's. They are li ...

I have 7 different bluetooth headsets. I have found Motorola's to work the best with range and dependability factors. However, the volume on my Motorola 800, 820 and now the HS850 have all been very very weak. I spent 25 dollars on eBay for a cheap bluetooth headset, and it goes twice the volume of ...
