I also experienced Easyspace's appalling service, and I wish I had heeded a friend's advice not to use their web hosting service.

They were slow and unprofessional. They did not seem to know what they were doing, and their web site was dysfunctional. Their customer service was inadequate, sloppy ...

I bought the Easyspace wen hosting gold package in October 2005, and within days it was all working, as said in other reviews no script given. But I have emailed them with my problems, and within a day the have fixed it, and they also helped me sort out everything on my site.

I got more help than ...

I've used EasySpace web hosting for several years. It's in general been OK, but there have been some problems. OK, problems do occur, but their lax and unprofessional attitude: when the website went down for several days; when they deleted the site by accident; when they said they'd get back to be ...

I started with Easyspace 5 years ago, and apart from the odd niggle I was very happy with the service. Since IOMART took them over I now have to pay £50 to move domains away, and to rub salt into the wounds, the email services which used to be included are now a pay for item. Hosting prices ha ...

    2) that you did not receive notification of the change to the charges

And then ask that they waive t ...

Easyspace helpdesk is brilliant the guys wouldn't let me off the phone, until they had my query solved. A good level of service and an understandable website.

When moving one domain away I followed the advice of Dastra, an earlier reviewer, and complained about the £49 charge saying that it didn't exist in 2002 when I set it up (it only came in in 2004). Easyspace agreed to waive it which I thought was one redeeming feature.

I'd recommend anyone thinking of signing up with Easyspace to go elsewhere -- anywhere else! Look at the testimonials on their own site - hardly any of them relate to service levels, they all relate to the ease of setting up the account initially. In other words, Easyspace make it easy to join, bu ...
