    I have been with abbey for years but the service seemed to get worse. Staff are rude, unhelpful and treats everyone like a criminal. Unless you request to close your account they don't want to know you eventhough the personal banking service for Offshore customers are supposed to be on a more "perso ...

    I have been with Abbey International and its predecessors (Abbey National Offshore and Cater Allen since for more than a decade. The service has become ever more impersonal and unhelpful and, since the take over by Santander has become utterly impersonal, inefficient, rude and unfriendly. The online ...

    The service is much less personal since it was moved from the Isle of Man but just as efficient.
