Have had no problems with 0netel for about 5 years - I now have a wonderful deal set up as I was a loyal and long term customer - but I had to ask for it! Their technical helpline is good, always helpful, knowledgeable and patient, that counts for a lot. I'm glad though that I wasn't persuaded to ch ...

Overseas call centre hopeless. Always polite, not always easy to understand. I have to ask them to say things over and over until I can understand clearly. I no longer dial the costly O845 number but their geographic number - if you are using talktalk then the cost of this call is paid for within ...

I have been a Onetel customer for many years, but since they have been taken over by TalkTalk the service has gone for from bad to worse. On one occasion in the last year the server went down for at least 3 days. Since then the mail server has gone down regularly. The overseas help centre is appal ...

Their main site and email keeps crashing, and their call centres are abroad and offer poor customer services. I moved house a year ago, and they are still charging me for my old phone number, despite calling them every month. Since Carphone warehouse bought Onetel they have gone downhill!

Moved from BT to Onetel prior to takeover from Carphone Warehouse, Price was good, and happy to go with them, initially everything was great broadband fine, telephone fine. As soon as a problem occurs you have to call them....and that when it all goes wrong! very very frustrating calls, people are n ...

Terrible overseas based customer service. It has ended up costing me more for my international calls. Using Onetel has not saved me money.

Onetel is easy to use from home. Helps keeps the business calls separate from home use, but OMG, their calling card service is useless! It's all very well knowing that you have to dial in 40 odd numbers, but you wouldn't mind if you knew you would be connected at the end of it. It's fingers cross ...

We signed up with Scottish Gas communications as we were not getting good service from BT. We suddenly started to get bills from Onetel, and when we enquired why, they said they had been in touch to tell us of the change.

We received a bill for £160, and not knowing why, I called and they s ...

I thought I was getting a good deal with Onetel until the first time I had to call the helpline. First of all it was an 0845 number, and secondly I had great difficulty being understood. After a while I gave up and made a second call to cancel my agreement. I was then put through to someone who unde ...

I thought I was getting a tariff change with Onetel, when really I was switching companies. I was offered a tariff (free weekend and evening calls), and then basically put on pay as you use. I had to set up another direct debit, yet they continued to take money from both. I cancelled both direct ...
