  I have an AMD Athlon XP processor and AMD XP heat sink. It seems to do the job, but it's probably the fan that does most of the work. The sink is aluminium. Aluminium is a good metal for destroying heat, but not so much for carrying it, so most of the heat doesn't leave the CPU area. Copper is g ...
