I was given the Gamo CFX as a present last christmas. My first impression was 'WOW'. I took it out straight away and sighted it in. Have mounted on it Hawke 4 x 40 sights. It came with the gun.
When I got it zeroed in that night targets were in danger, with me been able to hit a grouop of 5 the size ...

This is my first rifle: it has a great accuracy, definitely a great deal. The CFX came up with an excellent package with optic + laser + torch. Torch is useless to me but some might have fun using this rifle by night. I shoot from a 30m range to 100 meters. With the optic it's easy to shoot a coin s ...

I had CFX for couple month. It is accurate and will hit small target (probably size of cigarette packet) up to 50 meters, and kills small animals within the same range. I bought BSA carbine since it was hard to reload in poorly lit condition.

Excellent pellet gun. At 20metres with BSA 3-9x32 scope it is accurate! I love my gun and hunt rats, rabbit and birds with ease.
Handling excellent, recoil excellent, trigger is smooth, and when u have ur target in scope it is good bye to it.

You can't go wrong with this rifle. For approx $200 US, you'll get an accurate, easy to cock rifle with lots of upgrade potential, should you wish to do so. I also own an Airforce Condor (among others), but find myself going to the CFX for most plinking sessions. I've had such a good experience w ...

The CFX is my 3rd air rifle, and by far the best one I've ever had. It is very accurate both with scope and the standard sights. Personally I don't think it shoots quite hard enough (about 755 ft/s with the 5.5 pellet version), but it's hard enough for hunting birds and such. I also really like it's ...

I bought a Ares air rifle that is a replica of the CFX.I sold it to my father -in-law and bought me THE CFX!!! I shoot hunter field targets in competitions and the results are better than those shooting with riffles 10 times more expensive. The pellets I use for competitions is JSB exact. They give m ...

I would recommend it as a first time rifle or for advanced plinkers and hunters.I would always go for the royal model as i love the wood finish but black model is not too shabby. Fluorescent inserts in the open sights are very attractive also and looking down the barrel can very easily be mistaken f ...
