My mother-in-Law was taken seriously ill during our 3rd day in Florida. Rang the help line. they requested her details, hospital, doctor etc and said they would ring us back. 10 mins later rang with a couple of flights we could get back. Chose which one we wanted. Unfortunately couldn't get to ...

Post Office Travel Insurance kept me informed of developments on a daily basis, arranged a hotel for me when stay overran end of holiday and arranged flights - ...

Post Office Travel Insurance refused to pay although I have a doctors note ( £15) they insist on two notes from Ryanair ( £15 each) for each flight I haven't flown on. How could I fly, I have a doctors note, clearly stating I was unable to travel. A cancellation note from the car hir ...

I got my Post Office travel insurance on the day of departure of my trip. I just popped to the post office before setting off. Once I paid, I was covered. Simple as that.

However, one cannot rate an insurance company without making a claim, which I did. The claim process is fairly straight forwar ...

You would expect a camcorder to be covered for theft whilst you are on holiday wouldn't you? If you leave them in a locked car, and even out of sight they are not covered with the Post Office Travel Insurance. There is in fact no cover under the policy for valuables unless they are carried by you, o ...

I was initially very pleased with the Post Office travel insurance, underwritten by Fortis, when I first purchased it for a trip to Germany and Poland this past summer. The staff at the Post Office were extremely friendly, and recommended the policy highly as 'covering everything.'The telephone staf ...
