I agree that these straighteners do not heat up sufficiently to make any difference even to my wavy hair. This is instantly noticeable as I also have electric straighteners. I returned mine to Argos after 2 attempts.

If you have fine hair I think Babyliss Portability Ceramic Gas Straightener will be fine for your hair type. However I have really thick/coarse hair that doesn't straighten easily. I bought these for £19.99 at Argos and firstly they don't heat up anywhere near hot enough to straighten ever so slightly wavy hair even if you leave them to heat up for 5 minutes or more and secondly they get hair trapped and it ends up being pulled out - Nice! To sum up - Complete waste o ...
