The Ferguson FRG-120D DAB and FM performance is terrible. Is not easy to operate. It hums quite loudly when switched off. Now it has gone pop and won't work at all, it still hums though! Complete waste of money, DO NOT BUY!

For us - totally unsatisfactory!! We only bought it to receive DAB, and that doesn't work at all.

The Ferguson FRG-120D is a nice looking radio, I really like the retro look to it. But I cant seem to tune the dab side of the radio in, so it is not worth £49.99 I think more like a miesley £10.00.

Good enough DAB radio if you disconnect the aerial supplied with it and connect it to a external/loft Dab aerial via co-axial cable. The aerial supplied can be disconnected by unscrewing the nut of the aerial where it is attached to the radio, you will need a box spanner to do this. Pass the aerial ...

It is a shame as Ferguson used to be famous for quality electrical products, though we probably still had an Empire then. Although the sound quality, when consistent, on this radio is clearer than FM. However, overall it is a wretched introduction to DAB.

Wouldn't buy another Ferguson after owning this Ferguson FRG-120D DAB radio - I've had several Roberts Radios which are still going strong after 35 years.

Very unreliable. Now I know why Currys were so keen to off load this advertised at 49.99. I can't believe anyone would have paid full whack for this junk.
My advice: DON'T BUY IT!

I have owned this DAB radio for around 3 years. At first I was very patient with its temperamental sound quality, as I understood this to be due to ongoing improvements in DAB signals, as the disclaimer on the box stated. However, I am now fed up with having to jiggle the aerial about to try and get ...

The DAB on this Ferguson FRG-120D radio is useless. The sound breaks up frequently, but maddeningly gets better when you go to the radio to adjust it. I finally lost patience a couple of days ago when I wanted to listen to Radio 6 - I took the radio up to the loft room where I thought the signal w ...

DAB sensitivity is good, but on the technical front the set buzzes at a very low level all the time that it is connected to mains power, indicating a poorly designed power supply inside the box. The DAB receiver sensitivity is acceptable, but FM is quite poor. I also found tuning it quite awkward - ...
