The Dyson DC14 SW-AF is excellent for all my carpets as I have two dogs. It has a really long hose to Hoover my stairs.Overall, it's one of the best Hoovers out!

Given that Dysons are not cheap, it's not unreasonable to expect a degree of quality from the machine both in care of manufacturing and the use of reasonably robust materials. This machine has neither. A five year guarantee is all very well but I would prefer a machine that actually worked!

Don't waste your money on the Dyson DC14 SW-AF vacuum cleaner. I've owned several Dyson's, hoping they might eventually get it right, but they haven't. Bits are still falling off, and it frequently gets blocked. I have a Bissell now.

The Dyson DC14 SW-AF is my fifth Dyson vacuum cleaner, and it is the best one so far.
It is noticeably heavier than previous models, and it's also more difficult to release the bin from the body of the cleaner on this model.
