  After about a year the door catch broke, got a new one off parts master and fitted. The Carlton CF1W has worked OK for 3 or 4 months, now today the thing has broken down again - no matter what program you put it on, all it does is try to pump itself full of water endlessly.

  Our 2005 model's drain pump gave up after about 250 short washes. It's only about £18 for a new pump, but add to that labour and VAT and the machine looks a whole lot more expensive than the initial purchase price suggests. I have never had a Carlton before, and I shall not choose to have o ...
