At risk of tempting fate, I have had no problem at all since the upgrade, which seemed to solve the NIT change problem and slightly improve the general look and feel.
Very happy with the box.
On the AV Forum site there is someone needing to get the Update Download. Anyone know how? Post 10 on

I used to think the Bush DFTA3 was an 8 or more, now it's just annoying and I'm searching for something else - grrrrrr!
Generally an ok box worth a couple of pounds, but there are no buttons on the box - so you REALLY need to take care of the remote.
I *REALLY* wish there was a way of removing thi ...

However, we've all noted that this model freezes [can't change channel and if you switch unit off, it won't turn on again]. I was majorly freaked out t ...

I have had the Bush DFTA3 freeview box for one year (since Christmas 2004). I bought a new box with a hard drive this Christmas, and moved the DFTA3 into my bedroom. It has lost all channel information, and with the scariest of hard copy information, it is not possible to know what is to be shown on ...

I have worked in electrical shops, and I know when we sell a Bush product that it's pretty likely to be returned.
My sister wanted the cheapest possible freeview digibox from me and I reluctantly sold the Bush DFTA3. For 3 months it was great! great picking up a good signal and doing what it was ...

My Bush DFTA3 Freeview box locks on to a low quality signal from a narrow band aerial with powered booster. The i key and EPG function is seven day program guide, unlike some boxes I looked at. Good small size remote operates in one hand. A lot of boxes seem to have slow response to remote.

Only had the Bush DFTA3 box for 2 weeks then it stopped responding to the remote.
Tried all it says in the manual including obvious: turn of/on, replace batteries, check ir beam path. etc. etc.. stil nothing!
It's as they say,. you only get what you pay for,.. in this case,. cheap and nasty..
