My first FP7 blender broke the 2nd time I used it. I got it replaced and this time it didnt even survive its 1st use. On both occasions the device smelt of burning whilst 'chopping' and then the blade spindle broke. Also very difficult to attach & remove the lid to the unit. Overall extremely disapp ...

after the second time of using my Breville FP7, I could not remove the spindle from the base. I tried using as much force as possible ie without breaking it and it still did not budge, it feels as if it is welded: taking it back to argos and intend getting some other brand or further insurance!

Bought a Breville Anthony Worrall Thompson FP7 which broke down within seconds of switching on. Replaced that day by retailer and blades buckled and ruined plastic blade holders.
Went back and got money back from retailer.
Worst buying experience for some years.

Worked well, did the job it was made for, but just after the warranty expired, the knob which controls the on/off and speed stopped working, so miser only turns on somewhere around the dial, no regulation of speed either.

All in all i found the Antony Worrall Thompson Intelligent Food Processor to be extremely dissapointing. This product looks great at first glance, the processer speed is good and makes you think that it can handle quiet a bit. Unfortunatly the design itself has some flaws and makes the food processer ...

The first time the blade jumped out in use we thought it must have been a one-off and were pleased when Argos replaced the whole machine without quibbling. The second machine did the same thing; with the loose blade taking big chunks of plastic off its holder and the inside of the unit.
