Wait until the technology and the coverage improves. Its so so slow. Basically i can only get gprs at 4.8k, so like a normal dial-up modem. It never connects to G3 network.

Well this sort of wireless technology should of been some kind of beta test for customers first.. but seems all these modems are in the retail stores selling with data packages but yet very poor signal cover in a lot of areas and very expensive packages to not worth the hassle half the time and with ...

Software is bulky and not the most useful - I ran the card without it most of the time. 3G coverage in UK is simply not good enough - it ran on GPRS most of time - not what I paid lots of money for.

Got the Vodafone Mobile Connect card as a free item when I purchased my laptop, came with £20 worth of credit, so far so good. But when I tried to use it in Portugal, found that roaming was blocked. Complained to Vodafone, assured that roaming would be enabled (but I wasn't convinced). Once ag ...

There is no doubt that at £35 + VAT for 1GB unlimited, it is definitely the best value, as O2 and orange both charge £45 + VAT per month for the same tariff.
Vodafone and Orange Cards were free, O2 charges £120 for the card.
The performance of the Vodafone card was very poor thou ...

I was unsure about these cards on reading earlier reviews but signed up for the service anyway.
Have found the card invaluable for Internet access - fast and stable connection. Using logmein.com allows control of the office server even whilst sailing! A must for any small business.

Overall, by standards in terms of most 3G cards the Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G/GPRS data card will beat most. Personally, I would not recommend this product in terms of mobile internet access until it improves in speed and availability.

When I ordered the Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G/GPRS card, Vodafone seemed very keen not to disclose their tariffs. They weren't mentioned in their terms and conditions or instruction booklet, and I had to phone them to ask. I was told it was £2 per Mb (about 50 emails). I was not convinced by ...

I have looked long and hard for a Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G data card, and I can say that Vodafone are out on their own. If you go to www.airtimemanager.co.uk you will get a free card and 250Mb for £20 a month plus VAT, and that is the best value. My card has worked with no hitches what-so-ev ...

I bought my Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G/GPRS 3G data card secondhand on Ebay.
I knew it was Sim unlocked, so as I've only got an Orange Sim at the moment that's data enabled for my phone, that's what I've used. I searched around the Web for the settings needed, which took all of 5 minutes, and hey ...
