    Wow!For bird watching, Manuel Antonio National Park is the best place in the world.     We stayed 5 nights at Makanda by the Sea and it was the best thing about our trip to Costa Rica. The service was outstanding, the rooms beautiful with lovely ocean views and their restaurant was exceptional. We plan to return in the future.

    We loved our stay at Hotel Makanda. The employees are so helpful and friendly. We saw animals around the facility everyday which was delightful. Their restaurant is especially good and located right next to the pool. It was always quiet and romantic there, as they do not accept children. We are ...
