This review is for the SMK 3-9 X 56 scope, optically it is ok, but the problem is with the zoom and focussing. When you change the power setting the scope doesn't hold focus, And no matter what distance you focus on and get the crosshairs crisp, as soon as you zoom they go out of focus, I'm not impr ...

I own two 3-9x40 scopes, the other being a BSA so my review is based on the comparison between them. The SMK scope is well built and has a good clear field of view upto the high extremity of zoom (8-9x) where it starts to become a little dull and almost milky especially in low light however overall ...

This scope has proven to be very good for short range shooting once the objective lense was adjusted so that the paralax was more suited to close range air rifle work. Full magnifacation at 25 metres with total clarity. Though once i had done this i found that i could not use max zoom on a 50 metre ...

Single piece aluminum body nitrogen-filled scope in matt black & of general robust construction. N.B it looks nothing like the picture at the head of this review, thank goodness.
Clear bright optics with a hair-fine Mildot reticle. Scope is about a foot long, so may not suit a smaller build of ...

I got my SMK 3-9x40 scope a few months ago on eBay for 28 quid as a cheap hunting scope and I cant fault it. It does exactly what it claims with an unexpected air of quality. A very bright scope with a nice smooth zoom, separate focus ring, sharp looking Mil-dot, nice brush black casing and easily a ...

It is a very accurate and clear scope, and I would recommend this scope to anyone! Once the SMK 3-9x40 scope is zeroed in, you can't miss unless you are a bad shot!

The SMK 3-9x40, an excellent scope for air rifles. RRP in the UK of £40 and that's what I bought mine for. Variable zoom (3-9x40 of course) and a seperate focus eye piece also, which is a nice feature.

Clear crosshairs with elevation and wind notches and you'll get a nice view of 30 yards. ...

I bought the SMK 3-9x40 scope with an SMK DB4 Underlever which was a terrible airgun so i bought, well.. got for my birthday, an Edgar Bros. M.60. I kept the scope and returned the rest of the DB4 kit for extra "funding". I popped the scope on top and was in heaven. It never lost it's zero, even on ...
