    I bought a 3 year (£10) warranty with a Canon printer. After 2 years the prints became streaky and even with deep cleaning I couldn`t fix it.I took the printer back to PC World ( Silverlink Newcastle)and told them I had been using cheap compatible inks.     rubbish,unhelpful lying rude staff.big mistake to pay in full ,end up cancelling but staff not bothered,i suppose they still get there wage.
