- In terms of communication, I would imagine passengers have a right to be informed about the situation at Heathrow (even prior to the connecting flight from the Leonardo Da Vinci Airport in Rome). When the BA connecting flight got delayed, passengers had to wait in line for 30 minutes with no annou ...

I'm glad that I have flown from the world bussiest international airport. I think Heathrow airport is really quite good. It is a bit too crowded but food and shops are excellent and thats why I rate it as 9.

A must see. Best airport ever for transit. An excellent airport. Very clean with comparatively good toilets. The best duty free shopping ever.

terrible airport.
one of the worse I've been to.
I'd rather be in one of those tiny airports where you have to walk to the plane and board.
probably good for people who love airports and don't mind lost luggages and are not in a rush to make it in time to make it to a connecting flight taking off i ...

Friends, do not travel through London Heathrow airport. The experiences I got are poor. Everything is poor. The people working in the airport (especially security) are not friendly and do not appear to respect the passengers. I think this gives very bad image to UK. They seem disorganized. This is o ...

Having flown in from several airports in the Middle and Far East, Heathrow gives a poor first image of our country. Compared to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpar, Singapore, Dubai, Bahrain and even third world Denpasser (Bali), Heathrow has what appears to be dirty carpets that are badly mended, walkways that d ...

The line for making a connection within Terminal 4 was horrendous! It was faster to exit to the arrivals, leave the airport, then check in again on the connecting flight. Reason for such a long line? Carry-on security check was limited to two machines only for all connecting flights, the connection ...

When travelling to London or en route to another location (I fly Abu Dhabi to LAX every year), Heathrow Airport is your only choice, which is too bad too, since the airport is usually overcrowded, dirty and restaurants are limited. I do like the duty free shopping though.

Heathrow is the nearest of the big airports to London, with the exception of the smaller London City Airport. It also offers a wide choice of airlines, and most of the low cost long haul fares you will find will be routed to/from Heathrow. As such it is the best airport o use if you have a long haul ...

Heathrow is well located for London travellers but it is old and dated.
Terminal 3 is my vision of hell on earth. No matter what day or time that you go it is packed. The queues are huge. There are simply too many people using this terminal and I suspect that BAA know this. In addition there is a ...
