    I watched this show for about one hour total. What a waste of time. People only watch to hear Simon cut at the contestants with his sharp wit. Some people they know ahead of time have no talent,but they put them on to get ratings from the 'panels" comment,and so America can say "Oh god he's awful..l ...

    A tedious show of singers try to make it but unfortunately hardly any can sing and only about 4 of all the people can. Where as the rest of the people who make it only scraped it.

    American Idol is a show where first you listen to people who can't sing and then you can enjoy the people who scraped it in just get destroyed by the professionals sadly they got to motivated trying to get in to forget they scraped it.

    The American Idol show gives us, the public, entertainment straight from the word go. Because it has been 'more up-marketley' screening within the UK, it allows us an insight into popular American Culture.
