We visited Legoland on a Monday (which we thought was outside school holidays) with our 2 children aged 2 & 4 thinking that it would be quiet. We were wrong! We didn't get to go on more than a handful of rides as the queues were too big and the children were fed up with waiting in queues. Whilst ...

There appears to be no limit to the number of people that they will squash into the park and with Tesco's "Child free with parent vouchers", it seemed as if all Tesco shoppers with kids were there. A single Capri-sun drink costs £1.20, you get 10 in Iceland for £1.50. Hot dog £4.5 ...

Legoland Windsor is great for a fun day out, but very overpriced! 4-10 will love it,10+ might think its a bit tame. If you want a good day out I advise Legoland, watch out for the prices, VERY expensive

Top Tips.1. Buy tickets online and print at home.2. Try and go in the off season, March/April is ideal.3. Take a good pack lunch and leave it in the car, carry snacks and drinks in a small daysack.4. Try and arrive before 0945 and get to the barriers early.5. Go to guest services once inside and get ...

Overall we were quite disappointed with Legoland Windsor. We liked the sculptures and some of them were amazing. Other than that though we could have been in any old run down theme park, or at least that was how it felt to us.
We prebooked and paid quite a bit less than if we had paid on the gate an ...

We have great kids that deserve a treat, while this place is a 'Theme park', it can feel more like an endurance test. We find so much of our day is spent queueing, they only actually go on 3 'rides' per visit. 45 minute queues are a bit prohibitive and the 3 minute ride simply doesn't seem worth i ...

Go to Paultons Park rather than Legoland as it is much much better for the under 10s.

In spite of all the bad points I've highlighted, I would recommend this to any family with under 10s. Lego holds a magic for adults and kids alike, the park is beautifully styled, the view at the top of the park is wonderful, the facilities are good and clean and everything is geared towards a wonde ...
