Small size handles very well, viewfinder information vg, multi mode, af illuminated for dark focusing. Controls easy to use. I have shot some fabulous pictures with the Nikon F55 camera,

If you want a fab 35mm for a reasonable price, then the Nikon F55 is a contender. It backs up my Nikon D40 with surprisingly similar quality and results only on film. The Nikon F55 is light weight and cheaper to buy in the USA. I still use this as my mainstay.

It has a good quality focus on it and it's simple to focus. It's a good back up camera if your main one fails. go old school!!

Very good camera for the price you pay, looks stylish, but not highest quality body but don't let it put you off, the Nikon F55 is still a great camera for beginners or people not wanting to break the bank!

This camera is a baby Nikon, usually sold with a silver "G" series lens. The older Nikon "EM" is pretty close to its style.
