    To say this Hitachi VTFX440E video is rubbish is to flatter it. It seems to have no redeeming features. The VCR display shows the time if you switch on the TV to set it, but I recommend you buy a clock. Why doesn't the display show the tape counter or the channel or anything vaguely useful. I though ...

    You can't get any more cheap and basic than this 6 head VCR. Buy some thing other than Hitachi VT-FX440E.
