benjamin crosman eb17 is a decent pistol, BUT the sights are lousy, there's no way to add a Red Dot sight, the trigger is rough, too narrow, and has no precise shoot point. The grips are too thin and lack a thumb rest. The barrel is brass instead of steel. And you can buy a Crosman 2240 for half th ...

the only problem with the Benjamin Crosman gun is the normal problem associated with co2 cartridge guns and that is leakage if the cartridge is left in.

    cheers Dave

I've had this one for many years. Bought it in original condition with all it's paperwork. Have recently made custom grips for target use. Power and accuracy is better than i expected from an old timer like this one....this is one i shall be keeping.

I've wanted one of these guns since the first time I saw it. The compact design, good weight, and quality materials make it feel like more than the average pellet gun.

Fit and finish- Let me start by saying this, no plastic. Seriously, none in the entire gun (inside or out). This is unheard of t ...

Your comments of the windage issue with the Benjamin Crosman EB17 I have noted, but may I suggest that the correction of the windage issue may be better achieved by elongating the front screw hole in a left and/or right direction, if the existing limitations are not enough. I found the same issue w ...

Although this article appears under the heading of the Crosman EB17 I will be talking about the Crosman EB9a pistol. I suspect that the difference between the EB9a series and the EB17 is the name only. Perhaps Crosman will correct me if I am incorrect!.

    I have had my EB9a for a little over a year ...

I purchased the Benjamin Crosman EB17 Co2 Pistol after reading the reviews on several sites, and on the recommendation of a friend. I paid $89 US for the pistol at a local sporting-goods establishment, and was immediately impressed by the quality of the fit and finish. There is not a single piece ...

I bought the Benjamin Crosman EB17 Co2 Pistol (after much online research) for shooting at my local indoor ten metre range - the reviews I found suggested it was accurate, powerful (which seemed a good idea at the time), CO2 powered (which made it score higher in my mind than the reputedly hard to c ...
