    I like gerbils bacause they are normaly sweet and nice if you handle them from a young age then they will be used to you and tamed.
    I used to have 5 gerbils but I had them when they was babys so they was very still very well tamed and lovin and nice.

    Treat them well and your gerbils will give you around two to three years of amusement, companionship and affection. A great pet if space is limited. You must not attempt to introduce two gerbils who have not been brought up together from a young age as they will fight to the death. Try animal welfar ...

    Gerbils are loving pets and I would certainly recommend them to anyone who wants a rodent. However, you would have to get two, because like lovebirds, they die of heart brokeness.
