All though we were a little dismayed because of the lack of restaurant on site, there were plenty of places to eat near by and we were within easy reach of Alvor town centre.

The Alvor Club Alvor Golf apartment block in the Algarve was basic, but it had all the necessary facilities. It was clean and tidy. The pool area was clean and safe, with enough sun loungers to save squabbles! The staff were very helpful and polite.

The Alvor Golf block was not the same as the picture in Airtours brochure, (block 1). It has a small swimming pool, and does not have any sun till about 10.45. The apartments although spacious were very dirty when we arrived, although the bedding had been changed, some towels had not. The towels ...
