If you think Virgin are okay, wait until something goes wrong. Their customer service manual must have been written by JKK Rowling. Pure fantasy from start to finish, one staff menber will tell you one thing and the next will tell you another. The only consistency is that they all agree it ain't Vir ...

I decided to get Virgin Media becuase they were the only service that could give me what I wanted at the right price. Now I wish I hadn't entered into any kind of contract with them. We only have the interenet supplied as we do not watch much T.V and our mobiles are the main source of our phone call ...

Virgin advertise a "superfast, fibre optic broadband service with no limits!"

Reality... Yes the service can be fast, as long as you do not download much! Virgin have set limits throughout the ...

I was moving house so thought I should check out the cheapest broadband deal. I thought Virgin would be the best option but they didn't live up to expectations.
Firstly, I didn't feel we needed a manned istallation but Virgin insisted that "for technical reasons" they had to send someone out. They a ...

Dont be sucked in by the flash advertising campaign. I signed up to their 10MB broadband as part of a larger media package but wish I'd looked elsewhere. Connections are frequently lost and the speed checker I've just run tells me I'm getting 0.73 MB/s. Installation was a nightmare to arrange and cu ...

Virgin Broadband advertises constantly fast download speeds, eg. 9MB/s when 10MB package is purchased. Currently, I am downloading a 16MB file from CNet.com. I am getting a speed of 300 BYTES a second. Yeah, thats right, bytes. Shouldn't that be kilobytes? 300 bytes is 2400 ones and zeroes going dow ...

I've had big problems with BT Broadband... None of these services are perfect but
I appreciate that Virgin have taken the upper hand and are creating some commercial competition.
I find the 50mb option very strong compared to the competition in the UK (which is dire on an International Scale)
    If peo ...
