    I have found an Austin A40 Devon here in Las Vegas. All the parts are there; I'm excited about putting it on the road. It is a beauty, in its rough state!
    I have listened to the comments about this wonderful type of car and would love to experience what some of you have experienced.

    I have had over 15 A40 Devons, and I've found them to be a very simple car to work on. I've changed the suspension in mine to the later A50 and A60 Cambridge type because 16-inch tyres are very costly in this country (New Zealand).     I purchased my Devon in 1973. It was in very good condition with only 36,000 km on the odometer and all original. Only the paint had been redone once since new.     I am now 22 years old and learned to drive Manual in a 1950 Austin A40 Devon Saloon when I was 14 I love these little cars and now have two. One is fully restored and the other Awaits.

    Todays cars can beat the old ones but, If I found another Austin A40 Devon 1200cc 4 Door classic car tomorrow in good condition I might be tempted!
