    1. Initial connection took five separate visits even though the cable had already been installed by a previous tenant. They didn't turn up for two of the visits, for which I was offered £20 compensation.2. Telephone customer service is appalling.3. Speed is nothing like 4Mb/s advertised. I w ...

I pay for an 8mb service and received about 0.2mbps for the first few months (when I got any connection). This has improved to around 2mbps recently however I'm still paying for an 8meg service, I receive no response when I inquire about whether I could pay for the 2meg package instead as that's wha ...

Went for just a basic broadband service from virgin which cost 14.99 a month. When the service was working I was pretty good but these times are very rare. The vast majority of the time the service was either off or crawling at a snails pace. Dial up used to be quicker than this. Just glad I was not ...

All the reviews that do not recommend Virgin Cable make me laugh because the amount of people who have problems with BT provisioning lines cease lines ect are about 90% in my opinion. Its not virgins fault if you get disconnected by BT and have to wait up to 5 days to be reconnected thats BT for you ...

Personally did not like the website, and the bits that work are jumbled and personally find difficult to use, web based correspondence is non-existent, call centres based abroad make for slow and unreliable customer service in my opinion. Therefore I do not recommend virgin.net.

I do not recommend virgin.net. Slower than dial-up during peak hours for me as I feel it barely passes for broadband the rest of the time which I thought was supposed to be unlimited downloads. Unhelpful customer services in my experience too...

Expensive for me and what it is in my opinion, speeds are never what I actually get as far as I am concerned (when I've run tests the download is closer to 10 MB and the upload - often just 300KB!). Going with Be who are supposedly 4x faster. I do not recommend this internet provider.
