They provide a full tank of fuel on hiring the car and require that you return it full. Under no circumstance buy the full tank unless you are absolutely certain that you will use it all because it works out considerably more expensive. Absolute joke, waited 4 hour for a vehicle to not show up ended up having to catch public transport home on Saturday at 4pm. So in future I will not call National I will call a cab.

Have rented from National / Citier in France a number of times.We were late for one flight back and didn't have time to refuel the car, I didn't realise just how much they charged for it - £77 for half a tank.
