I opened an Everbank account in September 2009. I had no problem whatsoever.

The Yield Pledge Money Market Account pledges to stay in the top 5% of interest rates paid by other online banks such as Ing, Discover Bank, etc. No need to feel you have to keep moving your money around to chase rates ...

Although I've used Everbank Internet Banking three times now to finance a home purchase, I can say that I will not use them ever again due to poor customer service. Slow and unresponsive service makes them unattractive despite fairly good rates.

Pays good interest on basic accounts. Allows the small investor to hold foreign currency and gold without paying a storage fee for the gold. This bank isn't going to default or need the FDIC insurance it offers.

Slow, slow, slow...... sent my info wrong address, told me my cheque was wrong, didn't send wire information.
After two weeks cancelled application.... will move on with MY money.
