Great £ + Fantastic Service
No need to worry now, I ordered a 51 inch samsung plasma whilst abroad for Xmas this year on 24/12/12, I requested delivery today 30/12/12, I had an order & delivery confirmation email, a text yesterday to say it would be delivered between 1.00 pm-4.30pm, after a call from the yodel driver it arrived at 1.05pm, excellent all round.
Well done.
Would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic Service, Hassle Free Service
I ordered a washing machine from tribal uk last week, I am just so glad I ordered it before I read the reviews! They were the cheapest price anywhere I could find with free delivery! It was delivered on time with a call from the delivery lads to let us know a 1 hour time slot. Wasn't expecting the quality service after reading the reviews but I couldnt be happier. Some people can be over critical on these review sites, it's rare you hear praise for good service

Well, having read loads of reviews and being totally frightened to death. I came to realise that having worked in customer service myself I know that if something is to go wrong, it goes very wrong and everybody knows about it. However when things go right, no one hears - shame huh!
So I gave these guys a chance because they have very good prices and was not disappointed. I ordered a washing machine and although the website had it's problems, the order was completed on the phone and a delivery date was given (only 3 days) and it arrived spot on.

First Experience Ordering With Tribaluk And It's Not Good
I chose TribalUK based on price. I knew that they were probably related to Hugh Electrical since both sites had the same price and layout so I was confident in placing my order (though I didn't see these reviews at the time).
As off the Wednesday evening, the dishwasher was supposed to be in stock according to the website which gave me the next day (Thursday) as a potential delivery date but I chose Friday in order to arrange the day off work.
After placing my order on Wed evening, I sent them an email asking about deliver times. I got a response next day telling me that the courier will let me know. As I paid with Paypal, TribalUK's website didn't ask me for contact details. I realised upon receiving the order confirmation from TribalUK that Paypal had provided them with an outdated phone number (my bad). I sent an email to TribalUK with my mobile phone but never got an answer.
Friday came and after 3pm and no dishwasher, I called the sales team and got through immediately and the person told me that as I had ordered late, they couldn't do next day delivery (I ordered Wed eve for delivery Friday and the website was quite happy with it) so it was actually booked for next Friday!
- Grudge No1: The confirmation email from TribalUK never had a delivery date so can't prove that they changed the delivery date without informing me
- Grudge No2: Delivery got changed to a week later without informing the customer (I waited all day at home)
- Grudge No3: I couldn't do next Friday so arranged with the salesperson for another date. They said it was changed on the system but couldn't send a confirmation email. Am I really hearing that a company doing business online in 2012 doesn't have a system to send order updates to their customers?
- Grudge No4: They hadn't updated my phone number. Clearly the update email I sent was ignored.
I let you draw your own conclusions.

Keep Away From This Company
Do not go anywhere near this company, I tried to order a TV and registered on the site but could not log back into my account. I got all the way through to the end and after inputting my card details it said there was a problem. The payment was processed on my card but Tribaluk had no records on their system so I cancelled and will not go anywhere near them again. A total sham.

Despite Reservations Regarding Reviews, Everything Went Well
I ordered a large deep freezer from Tribaluk after seeing the highly competitive price on their website. The next day I tried to email them with a query and both emails (to sales and customer services) bounced back to me. Horrified, I read all the negative reviews and wondered what I had let myself in for. I was thinking about cancelling the order when I noticed a telephone number so I gave them a call. There was no difficulty in getting through and the gentleman I spoke to was pleasant and courteous. He put my mind at rest but I still had a few qualms. The next day I received a ‘phone call from Liebherr’s UK depot, arranging delivery in a week or so. As promised, the freezer was delivered and placed in position by the delivery men. It is in perfect condition. I posted this to counter the many negative reviews here, and though some may be justified in complaining, I feel I had to redress the balance. I just hope emailing them becomes easier.

Contacted Tribal Uk Helpline About Its Administration
spoke to an employee of Hughes Group and she informed me today, 24/9/11, that TribalUK was in administration at beginning of year and was subsequently bought by Hughes Group.
I was assured that I would receive goods I ordered and that they would be ordered on the day specified at time of ordering.
