    Withe less then 2 years of use, it died on me. Bfore this is had an el-cheapo mini system fro GPX which lasted over 5 years. Not what expected from Soni.

    CD player element first broke down within 3 months of purchase so repaired under guarantee.
    CD player recently broke down again and it cannot be repaired.

    I have studied the main PCB. There's a transistor which is supposed to regulate 3.3v q906 from either the emitter or collector which is malfunctioning giving a voltage 1.6 which cannot power the CD.
