    BHX is similar to most other regional airports I guess but has bad points which mean I for one will try and chose elsewhere to fly from next time.     I have a very bad experience EVERY TIME i visit to Birmingham International Airport. Not about the facilities but the staffs over there are not polite and didn't really give the proper manners to foreign people.     I think Birmingham airport is ok, I don't think I would recommend it but once you are through security the airport is fine. It's just getting there which is the biggest problem!

    In my opinion Birmingham is an airport slightly below average with more bad points than good points. I wouldn't bother recommending this airport to others because it is nothing special.

    Birmingham International Airport as a structure is excellent. It's clean, compact and not over crowded. The terminals tend to be reasonably well maintained and there is a decent selection of the usual shops and eateries.
