    This Freecom FX50 DVD Writer can read and write DVD+R DVD-R DVD+RW DVD-RW and all cd media. I bought it to go with my laptop, and even with USB1.1 ports, it still writes DVD at 4x. I have had no problems with it, it makes no noise, its small enough not to be annoying. I really like it. A complete 4. ...

    The Freecom FX-50 seems like the best DVD writer for all Laptop users. It looks small, smart and its Dual Format...and you can pick it up for around 250 quid.
