    I bought the BA1000-5GB about 6 months ago, and it has collected dust for 5 of those months. The bundled and necessary software renders the device worthless. It becomes just a very heavy FM radio, and not a very good one at that.

    I bought a Bantam Inc BA1000 about two weeks ago... it is a great little player... very clear sound. It has FM radio, Voice recording at 8k/s very archiving friendly. The music recording is just unbelievable, direct analog to digital conversion into MP3 and WAv formats. Great for saving old 8 TRA ...
