i thought the theatre for children is very good and for schools to i like the venus section but i thought it could of had some more bits about the solar system and moon. It had a very good education centre for the schools but could of had some more games about space so it made it fun to learn. What ...

We went with my 8 year old son to the Movie Mania event at the Space Centre. I live in Leicestershire so we didn't have too far too travel and we had an amazing time. All staff and characters were helpful and friendly. I don't think we would have gone had the Movie Mania event not been on as there w ...

My family and I travelled from Norfolk yesterday to the National Space Centre as a surprise for my 4yr old. He really enjoyed it, my daughter (8yrs) not overly impressed. I would say it was okay, it would have helped if there had been a board up showing where everything was, my partner thought it ...

Well signposted from M1. Nice to have demos of how a comet is created etc as live science experiments as you wait in the queue - for over two hours!!?

I found this to be very poor value for money and more expensive than advertised on webpage despite checking that morning before travelling. On arriv ...

We decided to visit the National Space Centre on a wet and windy day and I must say that even though we made the decision due to the bad weather I wish we had visit here a long time ago, it's true you don't visit the things on your doorstep.
After paying silly money for parking at Alton Towers and t ...

After reading previous reviews I was concerned when we decided to visit the National Space centre with our five children. How right we were to disregard them. We went on the Sunday of the bank holiday weekend and there were no queues! The chidlren loved all the different displays and hands on stu ...

Both my wife and I agreed that this was the WORST day (hour) out to an "attraction", in over 50 years of our lives. ... and we found it so expensive... for nothing! We both felt that we had been cheated out of our hard earned money. In retrospect we feel that we should have requested a refund. Inste ...

A good idea going to waste. Why on earth exclude America and NASA ?
There is a very good cinema there, but the screenings are limited, and dull. NASA has dozens of good films they distribute to schools etc.
The whole place lacks excitement or coherence. There is no exhibit of the history of space ...

I really enjoyed my visit to the space centre as I saw and touched things that I hadn't touched before e.g fossilised dinosaur poo. I got a great value all year round pass for the same price as my adult pass which cost me 12.50. I was really pleased I could go any time of the year with no extra pay. ...
