Just crashed my second Samsung Spinpoint 500 Gb HDD in 6 months. Both drives started to make trouble and all of a sudden it woundt be recocnizes by Windows (or any other OS) anymore. Samsung will replace your drive but wont try to recover your data.

I got the Samsung SV1204H hard drive with my PC, which is an ADVENT 3213 from PC World.
It's features are OK; 120GB capacity (but 112/111GB registerable), and NoiseGuard technology that really works! In fact, I'd never have know that it was there... until it went wrong.
I love to fiddle around ...

The Samsung SV1204H Hard Drive was bundled with a cheap computer package, so unsurprisingly it is not going to be the best. Providing plenty of disk space (111 Gb to be precise), it is a reliable piece of kit which makes little sound, but offers little in the way of performance, spinning at a measl ...
