    Great sound and tape deck handy for oldies but goodies. 5 years old with no problems (fingers crossed then!)I like the fact that it sits so neatly on my bookshelves. The remote control is very useful but it's frustrating that some of the functions can only be accessed by this and not via the unit.

    GREAT... but the Sony CMT-CPX1 isstill not That convenient. No plugin for Computers so you can play from a computer into the Sony device to play whatever you want

    I have the Sony CMT-CPX1 stereo connected to a Pioneer amp through the AMP out and connected to a DJ Mixer, I use it for music, TV, Movies and anything else that has music and it sounds superb.
