David Lloyds has a three months cancellation policy.

Member of Basildon Club since March I am forced to leave after 11 months as the club is local to where I work rather than live.

I have complained about the fact the notice period was never mentioned until I had joined and signed. David Lloyd sent the following reply;

DL is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with.
My Son has tried to cancel his membership using the correct procedure, but DL just cannot administer correctly.
York staff are hopeless and pre-programmed to give negative stock answers and do not want to help.

I joined the West Bridgford David Lloyd back in June 2009.

Trust me, its very very expensive just to join the gym. Costing me £71 per month. Not much facilities in the gym area and carpets look filty and unclean.

Nobody ever talks to you. Booked for a personal trainer but he never turned up ...

They are generally just money grabbing and ludicrously expensive. Added to which their customer service is shocking. only get value if you use it regularly and many of the facilities, courts always booked up, gym over full need more facilities not members.
